Jaiden’s passion for exercise is something she strives to share with all of her clients. With a longstanding background in athletics, specifically in resistance training, she aims to teach clients how strength training can improve their quality of life and reduce pain. Jaiden understands that starting a new exercise routine can be intimidating, but with her background in personal training and education in exercise physiology, she is able to meet her clients wherever their starting point is. Her determination to help clients achieve their goals is of utmost importance - whether it be returning to competitive athletics or being able to climb the stairs without pain - she is able to personalize your treatment plan in order to attain your definition of success.
Jaiden graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus here in Kelowna. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology as well as completing a minor in Psychology. In her time as a student, she was able to work as a student trainer with the UBCO Heat’s Athletic Therapy team, assisting with injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for the varsity athletes. Prior to her university education, she was also a certified personal trainer through the AFLCA specializing in resistance training. She has worked with a large demographic, from high school students to senior citizens, and is able to use her educational background to improve the functional fitness of all of her clients.
Born and raised in Calgary, Jaiden made the move to Kelowna for university and decided to stay in the Okanagan after graduating. Growing up, Jaiden’s favourite sport was ringette but she also golfed, danced, and skied. Jaiden got into resistance training at the gym as a teen and can still be found in the gym most days, however she likes to spend most of her free time outside. Dr. Cory Peterson’s goal is to empower his patients, get them out of pain fast, and return them to doing what they love. Being an athlete himself, Dr. Cory brings together both his clinical and personal experience in chiropractic and sports medicine to provide the absolute highest level of care for every patient he sees. He has a passion for keeping people active and making sure that they are living their best life. Dr. Cory graduated from the University of Western States with his Doctor of Chiropractic, Master’s of Sports Medicine, and prior to his clinical studies he obtained his Bachelors of Science from the University of Lethbridge. Elysia’s goal is to help her patients live their best life, whatever that may look like for them. She uses manual therapy, exercise prescription and education to help her patients feel better and empower them to be actively involved in their rehab.
Elysia is originally from southern Ontario, she and her husband Clarke along with their pets, relocated to Kelowna BC in 2021 in search of a simpler and more active lifestyle. Elysia completed her BScHons in Kinesiology at Brock University in St. Catherines ON and went on to obtain her MSc in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Hamilton ON.
Elysia brings a variety of personal and professional experience into her practice every day. Rob’s main goal is to get you back moving! He believes taking time to listen to his clients, and explain his clinical reasoning are essential to everyone’s recovery. In addition, Rob’s approach to physiotherapy involves a combination of hands on manual therapy, functional dry needling (IMS), client education, and rehabilitative exercises. Rob grew up in Victoria, attending the Lambrick Park High School Baseball Academy. Through sports and academics, he created a passion to pursue physiotherapy as a career. He is a UBC-Okanagan alumni, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Human
Kinetics. After spending years in Kelowna, he knew it was the place he eventually
wanted to plant some roots. Rob continued his education at UBC in Vancouver graduating with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2016.
Rob has completed multiple manual therapy courses through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is certified in functional dry needling (IMS) through Kinetacore/EIM. Rob loves working with active individuals especially golfers and baseball players of any age and skill. He has completed golf specific training through the Titleist Performance Institute achieving medical level 2 certification. Dr. Mark grew up playing basketball, golf and other sports as a kid, he experienced first hand how injuries can prevent you from performing your best in a sport and how effective chiropractic care can be in keeping active.
Dr. Mark utilizes various soft tissue treatments including Active Release Techniques® (ART) and soft tissue instruments to help provide the best outcome for each of his patients. His love of golf lead him to become Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified allowing him to help others with golf specific movement pattern assessments.
After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta, he moved to Portland, Oregon to complete my Chiropractic Degree at the University of Western States.
